If you imagine the UK as the Human body, Peterborough is it’s appendix.
It has no function, you don’t need it, it doesn’t contribute, it doesn’t come up in daily conversation. Think Louis Walsh from X Factor.
However, if you are talking about either of them, it’s probably in some sort of panic.
I’m in Peterborough today for seemingly the only reason everyone in Peterborough is here today, since there’s nothing else to do.
